One of the benefits of MiniTec is the ease and speed in which you can design and build solutions for very specific applications. This conveyor system is a prime example, with an unusually long 9-metre belt.
The custom conveyor system (pictured during testing in the factory) is used for sorting (and fast offload of) cast zinc sawn parts from an existing manufacturing process.
As such, we built in a hard-wearing belt to cope with the metal parts onto the frame, which is made up of MiniTec parts ranging from 25mm diameter x 25mm long to 60mm diameter x 100mm long.
The height adjustable offload/guide rails are well-equipped to cope with the variety of parts and production requirements, especially as the customer is looking to increase production with this automated solution for the cutting & sorting process.
